Jim Williford, a seasoned musician and master luthier, has spent over 4 decades perfecting his craft in Chico, CA. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Jim has built a reputation for creating custom guitars and providing expert repairs for a variety of stringed instruments. His passion for music extends beyond his workshop, as he actively performs with two local bands, bringing vibrant Latin and traditional jazz music to life.

Los Caballitos de la Cancion is a group of musicians of varying backgrounds coming together to play the music of latin cultures….. Music that makes you Dance, Sing, Laugh and Cry… and all of the passions that eminate from this rich musical culture.
Jo Chavez is the organizer, singer and piano player. We play rousing energetic Latin music and beautiful traditional mexicina. We have seasoned players on piano, two guitarist, two violinist, accordion, bass and percussionist.

We play instrumental traditional Jazz with piano, a three piece horn section, a guitar, a drummer and congos.
